IS IT EASY TO CHANGE MY CLUB PERMIT TO CLUB RESTO MY RIDE?
Our Member Concierge make it a simple process to transfer your existing Club Permit to Club Resto my Ride Inc.
No RWC required. All you need is to be a current member of Club Resto my Ride Inc.
You keep the same plates, same expiry date and only the Club details change on your existing Club Permit.
And best of all, the Club Resto my Ride Member Concierge completes all required paperwork for the transfer and actually facilitates the transfer direct with VicRoads on behalf of our members.

WHAT IS THE VIC ROADS CLUB PERMIT SCHEME?
Victoria’s Club Permit scheme allows members of vehicle clubs that are recognised by VicRoads to make limited non-commercial use of eligible historic vehicles on the road network.
Basically, the VicRoads Club Permit Scheme enables eligible Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles and even Caravans to be used without registration on a restricted basis.
If your vehicle is eligible, you can get a Club Permit for your vehicle – sometimes known as “Red plates” or “Club Rego” – which allows you to drive your car on the road at a significantly reduced cost compared to full car registration.

Club Resto my Ride Inc. are an approved and recognised VicRoads Car Club + Association.
HOW MUCH ARE CLUB PERMITS PER VEHICLE, PER YEAR?
You can elect to get a Club Permit for up to 90 days per year or 45 days per year.
For up to 90 days usage per year – $153.90
For up to 45 days usage per year – $79.60
Compared with up to $800 per year for normal Car Registration, it is a significant saving.
WHAT SORT OF VEHICLES WILL THE CLUB ALLOW?
Club Resto my Ride is not a Car Club for certain makes and models. In fact, this is one of the reasons we started our Car Club as an inclusive Club for all Automotive Enthusiasts.
We welcome members with all types of vehicles, no matter what your Ride is.
As long as your vehicle complies with VicRoads regulations, Club Resto my Ride Members can apply for the VicRoads Club Permit Scheme through Club Resto my Ride. See more details here

Yes, each year there is a MEMBERS ONLY Exclusive Open Day at Resto my Ride HQ where members can meet the team and see where the TV Show, Resto my Ride is filmed.
This is an Exclusive Members Only Event.
In 2023, we will be announcing other upcoming events, “Resto Fest”, “The Annual Resto Run” and the “Motorvated Woman Podcast” official launch.

* Cars must be over 25 years old and follow Vic Roads guidelines and Club Resto my Ride guidelines for registration.

- No actual contact or physical inspections required. All paperwork can be downloaded, completed and sent online. No need to attend Club events to obtain Club official signatures.
- If you are currently with another club, we can easily assist with a transfer to Club Resto my Ride ( no roadworthy required for this ) No cost incurred when transferring Clubs.
- Two car permits per membership – $25 per car admin fee for registering more than two cars on permit.
RESTO MY RIDE CONCIERGE
Support and access to the Resto my Ride team for Automotive and Club related requests including VicRoads compliance and Club Permit Scheme administration, recommendations & referrals, ie: connection to personal network of suppliers & service providers.
